Watch: Babes Wodumo In Tears Explaining The Burden Of Taking Care Of Her Family. The Masses are worried about Durban based Gqom queen Babes Wodumo after an emotional video of her on InstaLive went viral.

In a Live Instagram convo with Tha Simelane, Babes Wodumo real name Bongekile Simelane is seen in an emotionally distraught state explaining that people judge her without knowing all the things that have been happening in her life for a long time now.

The dancer claims that she was very young when she was first put in the limelight, saying that things have now changed that she is famous.

A crying Babes also stated that many don’t know that she wakes up and prays every morning even though fans are under the impression that she is always intoxicated and high on drugs

What led to the emotional break down was the vocalist expressing that she was at a disadvantage where she had to first build a home for her family before she had a place to call home because her father didn’t have any housing.

“I have a lot of things that I am facing. I had to start afresh and built a home for my parents. But people judge you without knowing your situation” said Wodumo.

Tha advised Babes about the power of prayer adding that the devil will always try and dethrone you but with prayer, you will always be on the safe side.

“You need to pray that God doesn’t forsake you,” he said.

Babes also admitted that times have been tough since the pandemic and she has been surviving on her savings, alluding to the fact that she will be releasing a new album very soon.

Tha Simelane also addressed the fact that Babes Wodumo does not have an Instagram account after it was hacked, cautioning that she is using Mampintsha’s Instagram for the live interview they had.
