However the pageant has been criticized for a couple of things since announcing their final sixteen. First it was the models they claimed were plus size which social media did not think was the case and now they are coming under fire for making all the girls look the same in shade when in reality they don’t have the same skin tones.

Minnie Dlamini took to twitter to voice her concerns over the matter tweeting, “The official Miss SA pictures of this year’s finalists are very disappointing. Those women are not all the same shade of brown. They are much better looking, I couldn’t believe the contrast from their IG pages. #LetsDoBetter.”
