Veteran Actress Nomhle Nkonyeni Has Passed Away! Mzansi has woken up to the sad news of the passing of Mam’ Nomhle Nkonyeni, a veteran in the film and television industry.
According to several reports, Nkonyeni died in the early hours of Wednesday. She had been in hospital since Friday. The veteran actress was 77 years old. She had been in the industry for many decades, her most recent role was playing Lulama Langa in etv soapie Scandal!
In April, Nkonyeni was awarded the order of Ikhamanga in Silver – a prestigious honor by the President Cyril Ramaphosa for excellence in the fields of arts, culture, literature, music, journalism or sport.
