On her recent solocation to Bali, Liesl was serving all kinds of vacation goals on Instagram but one of her most iconic photos and with a little injury. Liesl shared the story on her Instagram in an attempt to show her fans that nothing is ever as it seems especially on social media.

“So here’s the story behind that beautiful temple picture in Bali:
Right before that shot was taken I landed on my knees scraping them open and bruising them so bad it looks like I’ve been in a car accident.
Basically to get that majestic jump I had to raise my feet quite high off the ground and by doing so my right foot got stuck in my dress. As I was about to land I realized that I was going to fall and I decided to just go with it to prevent myself from getting any major injuries. I got back up looked at the photographer, counted to three and jumped again – That was the moment, that was the shot,” Liesl shared.
