Brenda Mhlongo Opens Up About Her Exit From Generations:The Legacy! If you watched the soapie Tuesday night you know it was the end of the road for Fana after being killed on the show.

Well, he’s not the only one exiting the show, his mother on the soapie, Brenda Mhlongo is leaving the soapie. Brenda confirmed the news saying her contract was not renewed.

“I was told September would be my last month as a member of the cast. Although it broke my heart, I remembered contracts are negotiated and sometimes they are not renewed. I was aware my contract wouldn’t be renewed one day,” she said.

So what’s next for the star? “While on Generations I put my foundation work on hold but now I’ve gone back to it,” she said.
