ICYMI: DJ Warras Bids Farewell To LIVEAmp! A week after Lerato Kganyago did her final show on LIVEAmp, her former cohost, DJ Warras has also announced he’s leaving the show.

DJ Warras released a statement about his departure from the show which he’s been part of for six years which makes him the longest running host of the show.

“In my time at Live Amp I have been fortunate to have worked with legends in the TV game at Urban Brew, Marv, Sjula, Chester, Akhumzi, Bev, Nhlanhla, and the team. I have worked alongside the biggest talent in the country, LootLove, Pearl Thusi, Lerato Kganyago, and all the artists we’ve broken records with over the years on the biggest music show in SA history on Mzansi’s biggest Channel, for 6 years.

It’s the longest time for any one before me and I’m honoured, grateful, blessed and I would like to thank all of the above for making me an Icon of the SA entertainment industry,” he said in a statement.

Lerato has since bagged a new show on Mzansi Magic and we can;t wait to see where DJ Warras will take his career next.
