Melanie Bala Opens Up About Her Divorce For The First Time! When Zwai and Mel Bala announced their split they didn’t explain what had happened though there were many speculations of infidelity and financial issues.

Now for the first time, Melanie has opened up about her divorce in a candid interview on Cliff Central. “We were together for 17 years and who you are when you meet at 20-something is a lot different to who you are when you are 40-something. You grow. You change. You evolve,” she explained.

Mel says they both felt unhappy in the marriage and decided to call it quits.

“It is about saying are you able to bring the best out of a person and when you are no longer able to do that‚ you should be mature enough to say: ‘You know what? Neither of us wants to be unhappy. I don’t want you to be unhappy.'”
