Pasi Koetle Opens Up About Juggling Career, Entrepreneurship And Motherhood! The Scandal actress recently opened up a restaurant in Sandton with her husband and she’s a mother to a one year old baby girl.

The actress recently opened up about juggling all the hats she wears. From working actress to restaurateur, mother and wife. Of course, managing all of this is going to be difficult. The actress did share that, whilst she’s away acting, she does have employees who keep the restaurant going. These employees are crucial to her success. They are able to keep the business open, whilst she goes and does other things. Employees can often be beneficial for any business. In order to keep them working hard, Pasi has mentioned that she uses Flexearn to allow her employees to get their wages a lot earlier than usual. They don’t have to wait until payday, they can use the money whenever they need it. This helps the employees out significantly, so they help Pasi run the restaurant in return.

“Having to have and run a business is a different thing but the journey has been amazing. When I am on set especially now because of all the scenes I have, I’m glad that I have someone I trust (which is my husband) handling things at the shop.

People who run a business would know that they are the crux of their business. If they have employees that can handle their seat then that would be great. However, more than often the owner has all the pressure on them. In case, any misfortune (death, disability, or financial loss) falls upon them they would suffer and with them, all their dependents would suffer. Business owners who are aware of this would have taken keyman insurance or other programs designed for them, whereby they can insure themselves – and to an extent their business. For Pasi, if she were to consider the latter insurance, she would also want her husband to take it.

“It’s not easy, I won’t lie and say I’m chilling because I am not. But our mothers did it, with five or seven children. If they did it, so can we,” she told TshisaLIVE.

Pasi shared how the idea to open up a cafe came about saying it was after she gave birth to her daughter that she felt overwhelmed by everything.

“I remember after I gave birth my mom had to go back to Bloemfontein after helping with the baby. That was the most depressing time of my life. It was almost like a funeral, you know when everyone leaves it’s just you and everything comes back to you. Now I am alone here with the baby. My mom used to help me with everything. And my husband also had to go back to work. So I got so depressed, I didn’t know what to do, I didn’t want to cook for myself.”

“So my husband used to call them and ask them to make breakfast and lunch for me before he gets home from work… That’s how I just fell in love with the Gorge brand,” she said.
