Before Danny K and Kabelo Mabalane became the ultimate BFFs, there was Danny K and Mandoza, they had the original celeb bromance. After word broke of the passing of the Kwaito star, Danny K pens an emotional tribute for Mandoza.

Taking to Instagram, Danny K wrote how much he will miss people asking him where Mandoza is. At least once a day for the past 10 years I’m asked “Hey DK.. Where is Mandoza?”. Today I’m heartbroken to know that I won’t be asked that question ever again. My friend and SA music legend is gone,” he captioned the photo above.

“He was a true game changer that we all loved. It didn’t matter if you were from Soweto, Sandton or Somerset West – Mandoza made you get down. There will never be another quite like him.”
