Robert Marawa Opens Up About The First Time He Met Pearl Thusi

For the first time ever, Sports anchor Robert Marawa has spoken out about his relationship with the lady in his life, Pearl Thusi. Although the private star didn’t mention her name, we knew he was talking about Pearl Thusi after a photo of them together appeared on screen during his interview with Anele. Robert Marawa opens up about the first time he met Pearl Thusi.

Asked how he approached the brunette beauty, Robert says they first met at one of the Polo events. Apparently Pearl was in her car, Robert was walking with his friends to his car and they introduced themselves to each other and started talking.

“She was driving and I was walking and we were talking. I always remind her about the ‘walk and talk’. At some point she asked me to get into the car and I said, no. Nothing was exchanged, no number…Jesus would bring us together one day,” Robert gushed.

The sports anchor told Anele it was Pearl who made the next move when she sent a message to complement him on a show well done when he did a tribute show for Senzo Meyiwa on Metro FM.

“She’s a person where not everything is about herself but you too. It’s not surprising that the person is taking a bite from the Big Apple,” Marawa said of Pearl new role on Quantico.

On Pearl’s twitter wars, Robert says it’s a journey that should be allowed to happen but also get to a stage where someone understands their maturity.

“To be taken seriously, take your audience seriously and allow your work to speak for you,” he said.
