Bonang Opens Up About Being Beaten And Cheated On

Bonang’s Marie Claire interview has to be one of her honest and most candid interviews to date. On top of opening up about AKA and being online shamed, Bonang opens up about being beaten and cheated on.

Speaking to the magazine, Bonang says she has mastered the art of silence when it comes to her previous relationships. The media personality however went on to open up about the difficult times in those relationships.

“I have gone through the worst pain: an ex-boyfriend having a child with someone else during our relationship. Being beaten. Being cheated on. Being embarrassed on social media numerous times,” she said.

Bonang admits that she’s stronger now but would’ve crushed six years back. “If this past six months had happened to me six years ago, I would be broken. I would be on the floor at my mother’s house, weeping, on a drip, using an asthma pump. I would be finished. Now it’s water off a duck’s back.”

So what does Bonang want to do with her time? “I just want to be about Louis Vuitton, and Top Billing and Revlon. Amazing hair, contouring, inspiring young girls,” she told the mag.
