Chomee Opens Up About Overcoming The Difficult Times.

2015 was quite the year for everyone.

As much as we were all excited to start a new year, it seems Chomee was REALLY looking forward to putting it all behind her.

In a rather emotional Instagram post, Chommee takes a moment to reflect on the past few months and how difficult it was to stay on her feet.

The singer shares that without the love and comfort of her mother she wouldn’t have made it through it all.

“Last couple of months were the worst time of my life, but I remember when she came to fetch me from where I resided and she just smiled and said “I love you, and that will never change, you’re my daughter and you are special. She assured me that whatever I was going through, she’d be with me all the way,” she shares.

The beaut then adds that she’s not where she wants to be but she’s slowly making her way to recovery.

“Now know no one will ever love and appreciate me more than family. I appreciate all the support I’ve also been getting from my friends. People thought they could defeat me, they tried to humiliate me, but I’m the child of the almighty, and no one will take away what God has given me.”

Truth be told to make it and survive in this industry, you really do need a thick skin.

Family Will Always Be There…
