Ok, we know that a lot of you right now are probably asking who Eda Rose is.
Eda is a former YFM DJ and Jozi socialite and model. The beaut finds herself taking care of a few bruises after boyfriend, Kagiso Matjila decided to lay his hands on her.
Sunday Sun reports that Kagiso just pitched at Eda’s place and started assaulting her. Even after dating the guy for over 2 years the 26-year-old says that she saw the abuse signs but never thought that Kagiso would lift his hand to her face.
“I dated him for two-and-a-half years. He cheated on me and ended up impregnating some girl, but denied it whenever I asked him about it,” she said.
Eva claims that she’s been meaning to leave him because of all the abuse signs she saw in his anger.
“I loved him. A year into the relationship, Kagiso turned into a monster. He was controlling, he told me what to wear and who to talk to. Eight months ago, he was in financial trouble, so I lent him R65 000. But every time I demanded my money back he gave me the runaround,” she claimed.
“Last week, he came to my place and asked me to come outside. I got the shock of my life when he started kicking me on the chest while we were at the gate.”
She adds that even after the gardener ran towards her to assist, Kagiso continued to kick her until she fell.
“The gardener saved my life. If he had not come to my rescue, Kagiso was going to kill me.”
She said just a few hours after the incident Kagiso called her to collect her money at The Michelangelo Hotel, in Sandton, Joburg.
“Maybe he wanted to beat me up some more. I’ve laid a charge against him and also secured a protection order. He beat me more than 15 times and I’ve been quiet about it,” she said.
When Kagiso was called for comment he refused to speak to the paper.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m driving. Please call on Monday,” he said.
Spokesperson of the Sandton Police station, Moses Maphakela, confirmed that a case of assault has been opened against Matjila.
