Ayanda Thabethe Throws Enzo a Colourful 3rd Birthday Bash Filled with Love and Fun

South African media personality Ayanda Thabethe pulled out all the stops to celebrate a very special milestone as her son, Enzo, turned three.

The proud mother marked her little boy’s birthday on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, with a colourful red-and-blue car-themed celebration at Bounce. The lively setup gave the young birthday boy and his friends plenty of reason to celebrate, with the party bringing together family, friends and loved ones for a memorable day.

For Ayanda, however, the occasion was about much more than balloons, decorations and birthday fun. It was a chance to celebrate the little boy who has brought another special kind of joy into her life.

Taking to social media to honour her son, Ayanda shared a heartfelt birthday message filled with love and emotion.

“This time, it was Enzo’s turn to party up a storm with his buddies at @bouncesouthafrica.
Happy 3rd birthday, my precious baby. You’re the song and rhythm of my heart. I’m so incredibly blessed to be your mommy.
Thank you for always loving your mommy with all your might. I’ll always out-love you, in every season, for all of my days. Happy birthday, my Enzo.”

The sweet tribute quickly attracted birthday messages from people close to the family, with friends and relatives joining Ayanda in celebrating the milestone.

Actress Ntando Rambani sent her well wishes in the comments, writing, “Happy birthday Enzo pie.”

Interior designer Lungile Thabethe, who came through to support her nephew on his special day, also shared a loving message for Ayanda, praising her as a mother while celebrating Enzo.

“The best mommy to the most incredible little boy.”

Enzo is Ayanda’s youngest son. He has an older brother, Peter Junior, who was born in 2022, making the birthday celebration another beautiful family milestone for the Thabethe household.

Ayanda is married to businessman Peter Matsimbe, with the couple’s relationship having grown into a family story of its own. The pair officially tied the knot on 29 June 2025 in a stunning wedding ceremony after being together for five years.

Their journey to marriage began with a memorable engagement on 27 December 2024, when Peter surprised Ayanda with a romantic proposal that left her in tears of joy.

Now, with two young sons and a growing family, Ayanda continues to share glimpses of the moments that matter most to her. And judging by Enzo’s colourful third birthday celebration, his latest trip around the sun was certainly one to remember.
