Nelisiwe Sibiya Excited About New Film Umcimbi KaThando

South African actress Nelisiwe Sibiya has shared a short trailer for the new film Umcimbi KaThando, in which she will be acting. The actress expressed her excitement about being part of the project and celebrated the opportunity to work alongside talented young filmmakers and fellow actors.

The film was created and filmed by the MultiChoice Talent Factory South Africa Class of 2025 and 2026, giving young filmmakers the chance to showcase their skills and creativity. Nelisiwe said working on the project was a wonderful experience, especially because she got to work with talented students and fellow actors.

Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Nelisiwe wrote, “I had so much fun shooting this sitcom with my friends from @multichoicetalentfactory who are the future of the Television industry.

To all of the Multi Choice Talent Factory class of 2025/26 students and others I worked with. I am so proud of you guys and I wish you all the best on your journey in the industry.

Her message showed how proud she is of everyone who helped bring the project to life. She also encouraged her followers to tune in and support the film when it premieres.

The official Instagram page of MultiChoice Talent Factory also shared more details about the story behind Umcimbi KaThando. They wrote, “Everyone remembers their coming-of-age moment…but Thando’s is even more unforgettable.”
