Gigi Lamayne Celebrates Boyfriend Reason on His Birthday

South African rapper Gigi Lamayne celebrated her boyfriend, fellow rapper Sizwe  Alakine professionally known as Reason , with a heartfelt birthday message that left fans smiling.

Gigi Lamayne took to social media to share a collection of special moments of the couple together. Alongside the photos and videos, she posted a touching message expressing how proud she is of Reason and wishing him well for the year ahead.

She wrote, “From my “Favourites” Folder to here. My Big Friendly Giant. Happy birthday. I’m so proud of the year you have had. I pray God Guards, protects and secures all your hearts desires.

The sweet birthday tribute received plenty of love from fans and fellow celebrities. Among those who wished Reason a happy birthday was rapper Nadia Nakai, who commented, “Happy birthday reason, the realist!!! Spoil him today sis!”

Gigi Lamayne and Reason have been together for more than two years. Their romance first sparked in late 2024, and by March 2025, the South African rappers made their relationship official, revealing that they had already been dating for over a year.

Since confirming their relationship, the couple has continued to grow stronger. They celebrated their relationship anniversary in mid-2025 and even worked together on a joint EP, showing that their partnership extends beyond their personal lives.

In an interview with Relebogile Mabotja in May 2025, Gigi Lamayne spoke about how her relationship with Reason has brought peace, love and happiness into her life.

“It means that I am willing for him to teach me as much as he is willing to learn from me,” she said about their relationship. “It’s definitely putting the past behind us and understanding that we have pasts, but we’re looking to the future, and we’re led by spirit and God.”

She also described their relationship as one built on friendship and mutual support.
