e.tv has officially unveiled the cast of its highly anticipated new family drama, The Four of Us, which is set to take over the popular 20:00 timeslot currently occupied by the long-running soapie Scandal!. The new series starts on Monday, 29 June 2026.
The new series boasts an impressive lineup of some of South Africa’s most celebrated actors. The cast includes Sindi Dlathu, Sdumo Mtshali, Thembinkosi Mthembu, Kealeboga Masango, Dumisani Dlamini, Rami Chuene and Hope Mbhele, among others.
The Four of Us is a gripping family drama centred on the influential Dhlomo family, where old wounds, power struggles and long-held resentments threaten to tear the family apart. At the heart of the story is a family struggling to balance loyalty, ambition and legacy while navigating years of unresolved conflict.
According to TV Mzansi, leading the ensemble cast is SAFTA Award-winning actress Sindi Dlathu, who takes on the role of Busani Dhlomo. Busani is described as the fiercely principled eldest sibling who has spent her life carrying the burden of family responsibility. Determined to preserve her father’s legacy, she believes every sacrifice she makes is for the good of the family, even when it comes at great personal cost.
Starring opposite her is Sdumo Mtshali as Bobbi Dhlomo, a charismatic and ambitious man determined to claim his place as head of the family. Having spent years feeling overshadowed by his sister’s success, Bobbi is ready to fight for the recognition he believes he deserves.
Adding further depth to the family drama is acclaimed actor Thembinkosi Mthembu, who stars as Banzi Dhlomo. Banzi is the overlooked middle sibling whose search for validation and belonging fuels much of the family’s emotional conflict.
With a powerful cast, compelling characters and a storyline packed with family tensions, rivalries and emotional battles, The Four of Us promises to deliver drama-filled evenings for viewers when it debuts on e.tv. The series is expected to explore the complexities of family relationships while showcasing the lengths people will go to protect their legacy and secure their place within the family.
