Media personality and TV host Minnie Dlamini has touched the hearts of many after remembering her late brother, Khosini Dlamini, on his heavenly birthday.
The star shared an emotional post on social media, revealing just how much she misses her brother. Minnie also created an AI-generated video featuring herself and Khosini together, something she said brought her a small sense of comfort during a painful moment.
Opening up about her grief, Minnie wrote, “Happy Heavenly Birthday Sibalukhulu. Today I woke up missing my brother sooooo much. I obviously started looking for a picture to post and I realised I’ve used them all and then the reality set in for the first time that I will never have a new picture of him and us together again ever. Naturally I broke down as if this concept was brand new. I then went don’t with rabbit hole with Al and created this video and somehow it made me feel a bit better.”
Her touching message quickly drew reactions from celebrities and fans, many of whom sent her words of comfort and support.
Media personality Nandi Madida comforted Minnie in the comments section, writing, “Our baby brother. What a champ! The reason we’re all good on earth. Love you forever Captain K. Sending you love Min min.”
Reality TV host MaBlerh also paid tribute to Khosini, commenting, “A heavenly birthday to Mr “Don’t Touch My Stuff” Still loved and missed..”
Khosini Dlamini sadly passed away in September 2019 after suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm. He spent 23 days on life support in the intensive care unit before passing away peacefully while surrounded by his family. His death deeply affected Minnie and her loved ones, and over the years she has continued to honour his memory through heartfelt posts and tributes.
Just three days ago, Minnie celebrated another important family member when she wished her older brother, Maphe Dlamini, a happy birthday.
The television personality shared a video montage filled with memories of them together over the years. Alongside the video, she jokingly praised her brother’s youthful looks and personality.
She wrote, “Happy Birthday to the vampire of the Dlamini family. (Yes he’s the most beautiful and he doesn’t age lol u50 is around the corner lol. To my big bro @mapreezy more life and more blessings Sibalukhulu. We love you Preezy.”
Despite her emotional loss, Minnie continues to celebrate family moments while keeping the memory of her late brother alive.
