South African singer Kelly Khumalo recently melted hearts after celebrating her son’s birthday with a touching and funny message on social media. The proud mother shared beautiful pictures of her son surrounded by birthday balloons and cupcakes as she marked his special day.
Kelly revealed that her son was not too happy about the birthday decorations because he feels he is now too old for them. However, like many mothers, Kelly decided to embarrass him a little anyway. Sharing the pictures online, she wrote, “Not him pleading with me not to bring the cupcakes or the balloons, cause he’s now grown and he doesn’t wants his friends laughing at him mnxim I brought the balloons anyway Happy Birthday son mommy loves you and my job is to embarrass you.”
The birthday celebration came shortly after Kelly hosted a special Mother’s Day event called Renew and Reclaim: A Women’s Healing Circle. The event focused on healing, self-care, and empowering women. Kelly shared beautiful pictures from the gathering and showed how much the day meant to her.
She wrote, “. Renew And Reclaim with Kelly Khumalo FELIZWE womb healing and cord cutting Mothers Day retreat.”
The event was held at Suitability Gardens Venue and was attended by many women who came together for healing and support. After the event, Kelly thanked everyone who attended and supported her.
“My heart is full, I have no words… all I can say is Lord you are faithful and true. Thank you to all the Queens who showed up today,” she wrote.
