South African actress and DJ Pearl Thusi is celebrating another trip around the sun as she turns 38 years old. The media personality marked the special occasion by sharing heartfelt messages, adorable childhood memories and gratitude for the people who have stood by her throughout her journey.
Taking to social media, Pearl reflected on her life and personal growth over the years. She shared a beautiful birthday message to herself, expressing gratitude for both the good and difficult moments she has experienced.
She wrote, “38. BLESSED. GRATEFUL. PROUD. Blessed beyond measure, Grateful for every trial and tribulation & the God who has stood by me through it all… and Proud that I’ve used every opportunity I can to grow. Fans were also touched by another post shared by the actress. Pearl uploaded an adorable throwback video from her childhood where she could be seen happily dancing in a dress at her sister’s birthday party.
She joked in the caption, “It was actually my sisters party but I’m so happy to know I never needed anyone else on the dance floor.”
In another emotional caption, the actress admitted the old video brought tears to her eyes. She wrote, “This video made me cry so much. If only life had a rewind button.”
The birthday celebrations quickly turned into a love-filled moment as friends, celebrities and fans flooded her comment section with warm wishes.
