Media personality and businesswoman Basetsana Kumalo recently celebrated a special milestone as her son turned 14 years old.
Basetsana took to Instagram to share a heartfelt birthday tribute dedicated to her son, Kgositsile Emmanuel. Alongside the touching message, she posted a beautiful video filled with memorable pictures of the two of them together over the years.
In her emotional post, Basetsana reflected on her son’s growth and the bright future she believes lies ahead for him. She lovingly wrote, “Born to be King, uShaka, Kgositsile Emmanuel, your names represent the greatness in you.

The proud mother continued by encouraging her son to always believe in himself and to remain humble and strong as he grows older.
“As you step into this new year, may you always walk with courage, humility and strength of character. May you never doubt your worth or your ability to make a meaningful mark on the world,” she wrote.
Basetsana also shared an inspiring message about the true meaning of greatness, reminding her son that success is not only measured by achievements, but also by character and resilience.
