Media personality and former Miss South Africa Natasha Joubert has shared a heartfelt update about motherhood, revealing that the past few weeks have been challenging since welcoming her baby girl.

Taking to her Instagram story, Joubert opened up about her daughter’s health struggles. She wrote, “My little girl have been going through a very rough time with reflux/IBS. It’s been a tough couple of weeks. I am starting to get the hang of my new normal. Just not quite where I feel super productive. Motherhood teaches us to slow down and be efficient at the same time. c It’s been hard on us seeing her so uncomfortable and in pain. Currently trying a few things recommended and prescribed by our pediatrician. To all the mommas who have little ones that struggle with no answers, you are strong. It challenges a person on a different level.”

Joubert’s honest words highlight the emotional toll of seeing her baby in discomfort, while also trying to adjust to life as a new mom.

Back in April 2026, Joubert also spoke candidly about her postpartum experience after returning home with her newborn. She shared how the emotional shift caught her off guard.

She wrote: “Hormone drop post-partum The one that completely caught me off guard… The first four days at home, my adrenaline was at an all-time high. Healing didn’t feel difficult at all. I was excited, motivated, ready to do anything. And then… day 5. Joh. Joh. Joh.”

Joubert said she was surprised by how many mothers related to her experience after she spoke about it on her Instagram stories.

“I shared a little bit on my story, and the amount of DMs from fellow moms who have gone through the exact same thing honestly surprised me. I think you only really see this kind of information when you’re in this season… but this momma was not ready.”

She revealed that the emotional changes were intense during those days. “I cried for two days NON-STOP. (never knew so many tears could be cried. I could do my salt-sits in them, hahahaha) Enrico was so concerned.”

The former beauty queen gave birth to her daughter on 11 March 2026 and has since been sharing both the highs and challenges of motherhood.
