So all eyes were on AKA last night at the Durban July during his performance at the Jack Daniels Boomtown stage.
The rapper took it upon himself to remove one of the audience members from the stage when they decided to jump on stage and join AKA for his performance.
A young male jumped on the stage and AKA decided to take the matter up himself instead of letting security handle it, AKA pushed him off the stage and repeatedly gave him a few kicks to get him off the stage in front of everyone.
The rapper continued with his performance even though people were trying to boo him off. As usual King Forbes took to Twitter to explain his side of the story. Could AKA have dealt with the situation better? Or was he just acting impulsively?
Check out AKA’s Tweets below.
That Was Not A Fan, Fam…
“Fans” don’t jump on stage and ruin the show for everyone who’s watching it. It’s unfortunate that I ended up having to be my own security.

Actions Have Consequences…
I put an insane amount of preparation into my shows … This is my craft, my livelihood and I take it seriously. Actions have consequences. — AKA (@akaworldwide) July 5, 2015
My Fans Don’t Do That...
The word “FAN” is not the right one to use. Someone who does that is not my fan, they are not a supporter. They’re an idiot.

Honesty…
Run onto the pitch at a sports event and see what happens to you. — AKA (@akaworldwide) July 5, 2015
Let’s Deal With This…
Instead of talking about how we gave 3 top notch shows we’re talking about this mess … All because security was sleeping on the job.

Don’t Get It Twisted…
Don’t get it twisted …. I have no issues handling my own business. — AKA (@akaworldwide) July 5, 2015
I’m Sorry…
My only regret is that I put the fans who came to enjoy the show and DIDNT jump on stage at risk … For that im sorry.
