Reality TV star and entrepreneur Londie London has stepped into 2026 with a striking new look, showing off a chic pixie cut that marks a fresh chapter in her life. Known for setting hair trends and building a growing beauty empire, Londie recently opened up to TRUELOVE about the emotional decision behind cutting her hair, how it has changed her daily routine, and what it means for her brand moving forward.

For Londie, the decision to let go of her long hair was deeply personal. She explained that the turning point came when she realised she was holding on to length for the wrong reasons. “The exact moment was when I realised I was holding onto length out of habit. I wanted to start the year with freedom, clarity and fresh energy. Cutting my hair felt like shedding old layers emotionally and mentally.” The chop symbolised a clean break and a powerful reset, both inside and out.

As someone who has influenced thousands of hair trends over the years, Londie says the pixie cut has pushed her to be even more creative. “It actually allows me to show people different hairstyle trends instead of always hiding behind length, especially now that I’m really pushing both the salon and Londie London Braids. Every detail shows with a pixie so scalp care is everything.” With shorter hair, there is nowhere to hide, making healthy hair and scalp care more important than ever.

When it comes to haircare, Londie knows exactly what works for her. “My focus is a clean scalp, moisture, shine and protection. My holy grail ingredients are rosemary, peppermint, tea tree and our secret oil at Londie London Hair studio.” She also believes strongly in structure and protection. “I always say ethnic hair needs structure, so l make sure to braid my hair at least once a month just to reset it, protect it and keep maintenance up to standard.” Staying true to her love for braids, she added, “And because I’m a braid head, I was very intentional about not cutting it too short. I need to know that if I wake up and miss my braids, I can switch it up and get back into my braid era anytime.”

The pixie cut has also changed how Londie views beauty and glamour. “This look has redefined glamour for me as confidence, simplicity and presence. Glamour is not about excess or length anymore. It’s about how you carry yourself. The pixie made me lean into my face, my energy and my femininity in a much bolder way. It’s soft but powerful at the same time.”

When it comes to heat styling, Londie keeps it simple and protective. “I limit heat as much as possible and I never skip heat protectant. Blow drying and curling rollers are better than constantly flat-ironing.” She also shared a lesson she has learnt over time: “I have also learnt that the less products you use on your hair, the better.”
