Actress Sivenathi “Sive” Mabuya is celebrating love, growth and family as she marks six beautiful years with her husband, Aphiwe Bukani. The star, best known for her role in the Netflix hit series How To Ruin Love: The Proposal and How To Ruin Love: The Lobola, recently took to social media to honour her partner and reflect on how far they have come together.
Sive shared a sweet and heartfelt message that quickly melted the hearts of her followers. Celebrating their journey, she wrote: “6 years later + a full house of 4… I can’t believe how grown we are. What a life! Forever your girlfriend.” The message spoke volumes about their strong bond, their shared growth, and the life they have built as a family.
From September 2025, Sive gave fans a closer look into one of the most meaningful chapters of her life. She shared intimate moments from her pregnancy journey, including pictures of her baby bump, time spent with close family and friends, adorable baby clothes, and a thoughtful baby hamper with a card that read “Congratulations.” One photo, however, stood out the most — a tiny baby hand holding onto her finger. The touching image left many fans emotional and full of love. From the baby boy outfits seen in her posts, it appears that the actress has welcomed a baby boy.
Reflecting on that emotional period, Sive described the month as life-changing. In her caption, she wrote: “September 2025… the toughest and most rewarding month of my life.” She added a blue heart emoji, marking the special memory and hinting at the arrival of her son.
This joyful moment followed her pregnancy announcement earlier in June 2025. At the time, Sive proudly revealed her baby bump and shared the exciting news with her followers, writing: “Bump’s out the bag … thank you for your kindness. We couldn’t be happier.”
Just a month before that, in May, Sive and Aphiwe celebrated their third wedding anniversary. The actress honoured her husband with a touching tribute: “17 years your pursuit 5 years your girl 3 years your wife And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Happy anniversary baba, I love you @apiwebukani.”
The couple tied the knot in 2022 during a traditional wedding ceremony in the Eastern Cape, but their love story began many years before. Even before saying “I do,” Sive openly shared their lobola negotiations with her fans, allowing them to be part of her journey.
Today, Sivenathi Mabuya continues to celebrate love, family and partnership, proudly honouring her husband and the life they have built together.
