South African music star Prince Kaybee continues to open up about the painful journey of losing his mother. The award-winning producer recently shared emotional posts on X (formerly Twitter), giving fans another glimpse into how deeply the loss has affected him.

It all began when a user, @TheRealMacDee, made a tweet, “How have you handled the grief of losing your mother?” Prince Kaybee responded with honesty, revealing how overwhelming the pain still is. He tweeted, “I broke down during a business meeting yesterday, so yeah.” His reply showed that grief does not follow a timeline and can hit at the most unexpected moments.

In another post, he added, “The idea that you will be able to control grief is absurd.” This simple but powerful statement resonated with many people who have gone through similar experiences.

Fans flooded the comments section with heartfelt messages of comfort and support.

User @ThereYouGooh wrote, “Grief sneaks up on you when you least expect it. Some days are better than other. Take heart, brother.”

Another user, @HumoZinhle, also shared their own experience, saying, “It’s been over a year since my dad passed and I broke down yesterday morning driving to work. So it takes time, you will still have more of those moments. Love and light.”

Meanwhile @SavannahJames offered a gentle message, commenting, “May you find strength to go each day one step at a time🙏.”

This is not the first time Prince Kaybee has spoken about the heartbreaking loss. In September 2025, he shared a deeply emotional message reflecting on the days after his mother passed. In the touching post, he wrote, “It’s the 4th night of walking around the house without you physically there.” He also described the final moments he shared with her:

“Holding you as you sat on the chair that you died on, feeling your neck get stiffer as I kept on begging you not to leave me, I cannot define how torn apart I am, broken into pieces that will never be one. Thank you for everything, Oulady.”

Through his honesty, Prince Kaybee has started important conversations about grief, showing that it is a journey with no clear end. His vulnerability has encouraged many people to share their own stories and offer support, proving that even in pain, community can bring comfort.
