South African actor Wonder Ndlovu is celebrating a major relationship milestone with his wife, Chaunees Ndlovu, after recently getting married.
The actor, who is known for his role in the Netflix series The Polygamist, reflected on their journey together as they marked eight years of love, commitment and choosing each other through life’s ups and downs.
Wonder revealed that he and Chaunees are also parents to two children, a five-year-old boy and a two-year-old baby girl. For the actor, building a family with the woman he loves has been one of the greatest blessings of their relationship.
Taking to social media, Wonder shared a heartfelt message dedicated to his wife.
“This can only be God! Eight years together, two years engaged, and now by God’s grace, we get to call each other husband and wife.
God has blessed us with two beautiful babies – our 5-year-old boy and our 2-year-old baby girl. The greatest gifts we could ever ask for.
I told my wife within the first week of meeting her that I was going to marry her. & She thought I was crazy – she wasn’t even my girlfriend yet! But somehow, my heart already knew she was the one.
Eight years later… I was right.
Our love isn’t perfect, but our God is. So we choose to keep Him at the centre of our family and our marriage.
We’ve been through a lot, but we’ve never stopped choosing each other. We choose to pray together, grow together, laugh together, cry together and experience this beautiful life together. We choose life together – and nothing else. My love, I’d choose you in every lifetime. Here’s to forever.”
The couple also celebrated their lobola ceremony on Saturday, 15 August 2026, marking another meaningful chapter in their journey.
Wonder expressed his gratitude for the love and partnership they have shared over the past eight years. He reflected on the different experiences that have shaped their relationship and praised Chaunees for always choosing love.
He wrote: “Wife ord y yoblessed me with the love of my life – the 8 years of love. 8 years of choosing each other through everything life has brought our way. We’ve seen the best and the worst sides of each other, and through it all, I’m grateful that we always chose love.
You’ve taught me that we may not be perfect, but love is perfect. You’ve taught me patience, grace, forgiveness, and what it truly means to walk through life with someone.
I’m glad it’s you. I’m glad you chose me. I’m glad you loved me. I’m grateful for every prayer you’ve prayed for me – sometimes more than you pray for yourself.”
With eight years behind them, two children by their side and marriage now part of their story, Wonder and Chaunees continue to celebrate the love they have built together.
