South African singer Thabsie is celebrating a major milestone — 10 years of marriage with her husband, Thando Vokwana. The star marked the special moment by sharing beautiful photos of the two of them dressed in white, along with a touching message that left many fans emotional.
In her message, Thabsie expressed her love, gratitude and humour as she looked back on their journey together. She wrote, “10 years married to the love of my life.
10 years of making me watch Harry Potter movies over and over again, 10 years of you always controlling the aux even though I’m the musician, 10 years of me being right and you being wrong and 10 years of you spending 1 day with me so you can spend the next 3 days playing golf but jokes aside…”
She then opened up about how much Thando means to her, describing the strength of their relationship and his role in her life. “You have held my heart in your steady hands through every season we’ve faced. You are gentle, you are kind and so patient with me. You really are love personified. I know God is real because He gave me you. I will love you in every tomorrow we are blessed to share.”
To make the moment even more special, Thabsie also posted an old picture from their wedding 10 years ago. The photo showed their intimate ceremony surrounded by close family and friends. On her Instagram story, she reflected on that night and said, “The night of our signing we had an intimate wedding with our closest family & friends. I’m weeping, I can’t believe it’s been 10 years.”
She ended her post with, “Happy Anniversary Thando Chuma Zukisani Vokwana.”
Thando also shared his own emotional message to his wife, proving that the love is just as strong on his side. He wrote, “Through the light and the dark times, through the joy and the sadness – my only constant has been you. Damn, it’s 10 years later!!! Happy anniversary my monkey.”
