Grace hosted her unforgettable celebration at Divine Sunset Events in Johannesburg, where top South African YouTubers, TikTokers, Instagram influencers, and industry friends showed up to support her. The event featured electrifying performances from big names like Pabi Cooper, Cyan Boujee, Chiccoalot, Njelic, Tracy Vocals, Thatohatsi, and Mlindo the Vocalist, making it one of the most talked-about parties of the year.

For Grace, the celebration wasn’t just another influencer gathering—it was a reflection of her incredible journey in 2025. Once a teacher, she has now been creating content full-time for three years. Her hard work and creativity have helped her build a massive following across social media, and she has collaborated with several top brands. Many fans believe she has officially cemented her place as one of South Africa’s most successful and influential content creators.

To mark her achievements, Grace hosted not one but two themed parties—one decorated in light brown shades and another in stunning green. Explaining her outfit choice, she said, “1st dress, green. A colour of nature, representing growth, harmony, fertility, and freshness.”

While her event sparked plenty of admiration, it also drew mixed reactions online. On X (formerly Twitter), social media users shared their thoughts on her glamorous event.

@LoverofBeautyT commented, “Awwww Grace, she’s so beautiful. It’s her incorporating all the brands she’s influencing for. Grace Mondlana forever that girl.”

@Adahh_A added, “What’s probably going to happen is this will become an event that people anticipate every year & brands will start to want to sponsor it for visibility. Next year not only will she be sponsored, she’ll get paid to host these moving forward.”

Another user, @Rushe_C, praised her marketing genius, saying, “All jokes aside, what Grace pulled off this weekend is amazing for her brand. You’ll have 200+ nano and micro influencers vlogging your event, doing Get Ready With Mes, OOTDs, and just general videos for weeks. All using your name and hashtag.”

And when some critics questioned her motives, @Adahh_A defended her, writing, “Guys this lady is a brand, she’s a company. What’s wrong with her having a year-end function? A lot of y’all just mad because she doesn’t fit your image of what a successful influencer should look like. If Mihlali did it you wouldn’t whine. Go cry about it.”

Whether you love or hate it, Grace Mondlana’s celebration has proven one thing—she knows how to make headlines and bring Mzansi together in conversation.
