South African superstar Tyla continues to shine on the global stage, earning yet another Grammy nomination ahead of the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, set to take place on Sunday, 1 February 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The Grammy Award-winning hitmaker, whose full name is Tyla Laura Seethal, has been nominated in the Best African Music Performance category for her latest single, Push 2 Start. She faces tough competition from some of Africa’s biggest stars, including Davido and Omah Lay for With You, Eddy Kenzo and Mehran Matin for Hope & Love, and Ayra Starr and Wizkid for Gimme Dat.
This marks another major milestone for the 22-year-old singer, who made history at the 2024 Grammy Awards when her viral hit Water won the inaugural Best African Music Performance category. The win cemented her status as one of Africa’s most promising young artists and a global pop sensation.
Aside from her Grammy nod, Tyla is also preparing to hit the road for her first-ever headline world tour, titled the “We Wanna Party” tour. The highly anticipated concert series will take her across Asia and beyond, kicking off on 11 November 2025 in Tokyo.
From there, Tyla will perform in Bangkok (14 November), Hong Kong (23 November), Manila (3 December), and Singapore (5 December). According to Live Nation, the Manila show will take place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, while the Singapore concert will be held at The Arena @Expo.

However, fans in Hong Kong will have to wait a little longer to see the star perform. According to Tyger’s Access on X (formerly Twitter), the Hong Kong leg of the tour — originally scheduled for 23 November 2025 — has been postponed.
In an official statement, organizers said: “We would like to inform you that the ‘Tyla We Wanna Party Show in Hong Kong,’ originally scheduled for November 23, 2025, has been postponed to a new date (announcement in the coming weeks). We sincerely apologize to all fans who have been eagerly anticipating the concert. Ticketing refunds will be processed via the original payment method or the confirmation email from the ticketing platforms. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely ask for your understanding as we reschedule the date.”
Despite the postponement, excitement remains sky-high as Tyla continues her impressive rise to global stardom — balancing Grammy recognition, record-breaking hits, and a world tour that proves she’s one of South Africa’s brightest musical exports.
