Cardi B has finally revealed the features for her much-anticipated sophomore album, AM I THE DRAMA? On Monday, September 15, the rapper partnered with Spotify to announce the full lineup of guest artists who will be appearing on the 23-track project. The album is set to drop on Friday, September 19, and fans are buzzing with excitement.

The album features some of the biggest names in music, including Summer Walker, Selena Gomez, Kehlani, Lizzo, Tyla, Cash Cobain, Janet Jackson, and Megan Thee Stallion. Sharing the news on Instagram, Cardi B teased fans with the caption, “WHO ELSE IS THE DRAMA?”

For South African star Tyla, this collaboration marks another major milestone in her already incredible journey. The Johannesburg-born singer has taken the world by storm since the release of her viral hit Water. The song not only dominated TikTok but also earned her a Grammy for Best African Music Performance. Her unique sound, which blends amapiano, pop, and R&B, has made her one of the most exciting voices in the new wave of African music.

Cardi B has been building hype around the album with two singles, Outside and Imaginary Playerz. She also surprised fans with multiple versions of the album cover, including one featuring photos from her recent court appearance.

But beyond music, Cardi B has also shown strong support for Tyla. Last month, the rapper defended the young star against relentless online trolling. Tyla has faced criticism from some who label her an “industry plant” or call her an “uppity African.” Others have questioned why she identifies as “Coloured,” a term that is often seen as offensive in the United States, instead of “Black.” Critics have accused her of denying her blackness and questioned her ties to African American culture.

Cardi B, who has also faced harsh criticism throughout her career, compared Tyla’s experience to her own struggles. Speaking on X Spaces, she said: “Look at Tyla. People been dragging the sh** out of Tyla and it’s, like, the girl don’t even f***ing address or talk about nothing. I’m starting to feel that people just don’t like celebrities. It’s like the only way that people like celebrities is if you don’t f***king say nothing at all. They beat your energy and they beat your confidence, they beat you to the f***ing ground.”

With AM I THE DRAMA? just days away, Tyla’s feature adds even more excitement to what promises to be one of the year’s biggest music releases. Her global rise shows no signs of slowing down, and this collaboration with Cardi B is proof that she is ready to shine on the world’s biggest stages.
