Connie Ferguson Joins Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025 as Guest Judge

South African actress and filmmaker Connie Ferguson has been announced as the special guest judge for the Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025 pageant. The legendary star will take her place on a panel of six respected judges at the highly anticipated grand finale.

Connie will join the likes of Miss Zimbabwe-Diaspora 2017 Roseanna Hall, Pan-African executive banker George Nheweyembwa, Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 Brooke Bruk Jackson, award-winning luxury travel blogger Paloma Mlunjwana, former supermodel Tsungai Makwanya, and arts and culture expert Zak Hawa.

The Miss Universe Zimbabwe Pageant organization shared their excitement about Connie’s involvement in the event, saying:

“We are thrilled to announce that the iconic Connie Ferguson @connie_ferguson will be joining us as the Guest of Honour and Guest Judge at the Miss Universe Zimbabwe Grand Finale! A true role model whose legacy inspires women across Africa.”

Connie Ferguson is one of Africa’s most celebrated actresses. She is best known for playing the unforgettable Karabo Moroka on the hit South African soapie Generations. Her talent has kept audiences entertained for over two decades, with roles in popular shows like The Queen, Kings of Joburg, and Rockville.

But Connie’s success doesn’t end on screen. She’s also a powerful businesswoman and creative leader. She co-founded Ferguson Films, which has produced hit TV shows loved by many across Africa. She also launched Connie Brands, a lifestyle brand focused on empowerment, beauty, and self-care.

Through the Ferguson Foundation, she supports African communities by promoting growth in business, education, and the arts.

Describing her as “a true role model,” the pageant organisers praised Connie’s lasting influence and commitment to uplifting women and communities across the continent.

With her talent and heart for empowering others, Connie’s role as a judge is sure to bring inspiration and class to the Miss Universe Zimbabwe stage.
