Miseducation actress Buntu Petse has officially welcomed her baby boy! The actress shared the exciting news on social media, posting adorable black-and-white family photos featuring her, her husband Londa Mavundla, and their newborn son.
Captioning the beautiful pictures, she wrote: “Then there were three… Thank you, Sthandwa Sam, for our little family.”
Before welcoming her son, Buntu celebrated her pregnancy journey with loved ones. She recently shared glimpses from her baby shower, a joyful event filled with family and close friends.
“What an amazing day! Thank you to ALL my friends and family for making my Blooming wishes come true,” she expressed.
Buntu first announced her pregnancy in November 2024, surprising fans with a heartfelt post. She and Londa made their red carpet debut as expectant parents at the National Film & TV Awards, dressed in matching black outfits.
At the time, she subtly hinted at the baby’s gender, captioning her post: “Me and My Boys are red carpet ready.”
Buntu and Londa’s journey as a couple has been filled with beautiful milestones. They got engaged in 2023 and celebrated their love with a gifting ceremony (uMembeso) in September 2024. Their lobola negotiations took place in June 2024, marking another important step in their union.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Buntu reflected on her journey to motherhood:
“I’m lucky, blessed, and chosen by God. I always stay in gratitude and try to celebrate the little and the big things too. I can’t wait to get to the other side and have our little bundle of joy. Our little mixture.”
The actress has been showered with congratulatory messages from fellow stars, including Rosemary Zimu, Dineo Moeketsi, and radio host Zanele Potelwa.
