After a sudden illness sidelined her from her duties as a presenter on Ukhozi FM, Zanele Mbokazi, known for her influential role in gospel music and media, is now on the path to healing. According to Tshisa LIVE, struggling with voice challenges on April 21, Zanele had to step down from hosting her show “Eshilo,” with colleague Thokozani MaMkhize Ndlovu stepping in.

Subsequently hospitalised for a week, Zanele underwent minor surgery to address shortness of breath, as confirmed by her daughter, Nonjabulo, told TshisaLIVE.Thankfully, the procedure was successful, and Zanele is now focusing on her recovery in the hospital.

Taking to her Facebook page, Zanele expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who have showered her with messages of support, including pastors, artists, friends, and her “Eshilo” family. She also extended thanks to her in-laws in Swaziland for their love during this challenging time.

As Zanele manages her pain and continues her journey to full health, her resilience and the outpouring of love from her community stand as a beacon of hope. With each day, she moves closer to returning to the airwaves and continuing her impactful work in the gospel music industry.
