Pics! Former Miss SA Melinda Bam Welcomes Her First Child. The former Miss South Africa 2011 winner and television presenter took to her socials to present her bundle of joy.

Taking to her Instagram, Bam wrote that her baby’s arrival was more than having a transformative effect on their lives. Further adding that the reason they hadn’t shared her baby’s arrival on social media for the past three weeks was because they were first enjoying time with him alone.

“Yes, we’ve gone into hiding the last three weeks. We wanted to drink in every moment and view it through our aw-struck eyes. It really has been a sacred time… we’ll let you in soon,” she captioned the picture of her holding her baby’s hand.

In another separate post, Melinda went on to gush over her baby’s physical features, by complimenting his eyes and suggesting that they symbolise heaven saying, “Afternoons I stare into a bit of heaven…I’m not talking about the sunset or the view, just these perfect blue eyes.”

Back in 2021, Belinda and her husband, Adriaan Bergh revealed that they had experienced a pregnancy loss—a miscarriage. Speaking to News24 about her miscarriage, Belinda said: “I was about ten weeks pregnant when I had a miscarriage.”

To show that their pregnancy loss was a symbol of a new blessing for them, Bam took to her Instagram in October of 2022, sharing a video collage of her announcing that she and Adriaan were expecting their first child together.

“When the desires of our hearts, God’s will, and God’s timing aligns perfectly – earth shakes, light rushes in, and the heavens rejoice! Daddy bear, here it is now! @adriaanbergh I can’t wait for the biggest adventure yet, side by side!” she captioned the post back then.
