Connie Ferguson Remembers Husband In An Emotional Post. The actress and film producer has honoured Shona Ferguson on several occasions. She has again taken to her socials to honour her late love, and dad to two of her daughters, Lesedi and Alicia Ferguson.

Taking to her Instagram, Connie started off the caption of her post with how Shona’s absence has completely changed her life. Furthermore, she concurred that accepting things as they are meant to let go of expectations of how things should be. Connie also expressed her undying love for Shona.

“XX. My Skat, life is just different without you Dawg. I miss you so much! Go ikamogela seemo does not make it any easier. Ke go tshepa Modimo fela le go ineela mo go ene. _ I’II never stop missing you. I love you always and forever. Hope you’re resting well my KING,” she captioned the post.

Since her husband’s death in July of 2021, the filmmaker and producer has been publicly sharing short tributes in memory of Shona. In October of 2022, Connie penned a heartfelt message to Shona, where she expressed how much she had been missing him and missed attending events together saying, “Today is carpet Sunday. I miss my person. Every Sunday we’d just lie on the carpet and talk about everything under the sun or nothing at all. We’d just lie here and be with each other. I miss his physical presence so much but I feel in spirit he is still with me.”

On the release date of their Netflix series, King’s Of Jo’burg produced by their company ‘Ferguson Films, Ferguson expressed how important it was to keep Shona’s memory alive—by making sure that the scenes people saw of him were going to be etched in their memories.
