702’s Relebogile Mabotja Claps Back After Being Accused Of Asking Minnie Dlamini ‘Personal’ Divorce Questions. The recent interview of the seasoned radio host with Minnie has ruffled a lot of feathers on social media, with many tweeps chiming in. With one even asking why she had asked an intrusive question.
Whilst the question asked by Mabotja on her The Upside Of Failure was to shed light on Minnie’s marriage and objectively present information to the audience, some tweeps have since taken to their socials to express their disappointment. Relebogile recently took to Twitter responding to a question posed by a Twitter user, asking her why she had asked Minnie information about her love life that they deem as Minnie’s own business.
The tweet read: “why is it important for us to know why the marriage ended? I believe this was a very deeply personal question”. To which the radio host gave a classy reply saying, “When you actually listen to the entire discussion and how it relates to the feature called the Upside of Failure where she listed her divorce you will understand. But you are a headline reader and clip watcher with a limited attention span made for short form content consumption.”
Her reply comes after she got to sit down with Minnie Dlamini for an interview where she got a bit open about her marriage becoming toxic. The interview has since stirred online debate on social media with many not agreeing with letting too much information of her private life come out of the interview, with some even solely putting the blame of the marriage breaking down on her. Whilst others have extended her grace saying that she doesn’t owe anyone an explanation.
