1. Lundi was began his musical career as a background singer for Rebecca Malope and was scouted by producer Tshepo Nzimande, who later helped Lundi launch his first ever solo album.
2. Lundi was one of a handful of South African Artists who exceeded unit sales of one million, with every release having exceeded double platinum.
3. The Gospel star had 11 studio albums, a Live DVD and two compilation albums under his belt over a musical career spanned over 18 years.
4. He was charitable. In 2005 Lundi raised R30 000 from the four shows to help a woman whose husband had thrown acid on her face, greatly injuring her and landing her in hospital.
5. Lundi died at the age of 38.
