South African TV host, actress and businesswoman Minnie Dlamini is celebrating her 35th birthday with love, gratitude, and a heart full of joy. The media personality took to social media to mark her special day by sharing a beautiful video montage filled with memories from the past year — moments of smiling, laughing, and celebrating life.
In her post, Minnie wrote a touching reflection about the past year: “34 was a year of wins, lessons, and quiet blessings. Last year was amazing, and this year has been even better. The highs and lows will always be there, but when you focus on the blessings (not the noise), you see the good far outweighs the bad. The lows? They’re necessary for balance and to remind you just how blessed you really are. I’m grateful, I’m aligned, and I’m ready to keep winning. Let’s see what 35 has in store.”
Minnie received warm birthday wishes from fellow celebrities and friends. Musician Nandi Madida said, “Happy birthday Minnie! Continue to soar.”
Radio host DJ Sabby added, “Happy birthday sis. Wishing you more wins and more success.”
Event planner Precious shared, “Happy birthday gorgeous Minnie. May your 35th be blessed, adventure and love filled.”
The past year has indeed been one of major milestones for Minnie. In March 2025, she proudly accepted the Forbes Africa Excellence in Entertainment Award — a big win that recognised her impact in the media space.
In February 2025, she also featured on the cover of Forbes Africa’s #Over30Under50 issue. Speaking about this milestone, Minnie wrote:
“I had the honor of gracing the cover of @forbesafrica in the #Over30Under50 issue. Made the list, was invited to speak at The Forbes Woman Africa Leading Women Summit, and walked away with an award later on that evening. To be celebrated in the company of remarkable African women from different sectors, who are making huge strides in their careers and communities, is such an honor. Ngiyabonga.”
In April 2025, Minnie returned to television as the executive producer of a brand-new music show called “Club Bangers” on Channel O. It premiered on April 4, 2025, at 7:30 PM. Sharing her excitement, she said:
“EXCITING NEWS: My brand new show is coming to @channelotv on 4 April 2025 at 19:30 #ClubBangers. 15 years ago, I won the live presenter search and worked as an intern on the popular music show Live. Today, I’ve produced a brand new music show that shows the culture, the scene, and the vibe of the hottest party spots. Reunited with my Live production team for a full-circle career moment #ExecutiveProducer.”
And in June 2025, Minnie returned to radio with Gagasi FM. She now co-hosts the weekday afternoon drive show, The Gagasi Fast Lane, with popular DJs Sphectacula and Naves.
“Durban, I’m home for a brand new chapter,” she wrote. “Join @sphectacula & @djnaves on @thegagasifastlane. Daily 3–6 pm only on @gagasifm. #BackOnRadio.”
