This was after she spent R50k on an engagement ring she presented to her boyfriend when she proposed. Zodwa went on to reveal she was the one who would pay lobola to her man’s family. Whilst we do not know if that went through, we know Zodwa has had cold feet on her upcoming nuptials.
Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Zodwa shared that the wedding was off. “I’m Loosing myself. I need my Spark back.I’m not Happy anymore. Free Ntobeko he’s still Growing. No Wedding??,” Zodwa announced.
Surprisingly she got a lot of support from her fans who applauded her for being real and following her heart. “Everyone can not always share a seat on the ride through our journeys….and to be honest marriage just complicates the core of the happiness you already have together…..,” one fan wrote in the comments section.
