Zizo Tshwete Breaks Down Remembering Her Friend Akhumzi! Losing a loved one is never easy and it takes a long time to learn to live with pain. Media personality Zizo Tshwete is still mourning her friend Akhumzi Jezile who tragically died two months ago in a car accident.

Taking to Instagram, Zizo shared how she is struggling with the loss of her friend and how she misses him everyday and trying to get through it.

“This post is for every single person going through the most and trying to get through the day. I hope you can find your source of strength. I hope you can allow yourself the chance to process your feelings – how ever they may manifest and today for me it’s tears. None of us have it all figured out all the time. We remain faithful in God’s power. Today more than ever I am so blessed to know that ‘I am safe in the shadow of [His] wings’,” she wrote.

Often we create these unrealistic expectations of ourselves and beat ourselves up for not living up to them. I’m known, in part, to always be laughing and smiling – and I thank God for that character He has given me – but even I have my tough days. Working in the public space doesn’t leave much room to be vulnerable because we are often so attached to what people will think of us. We are afraid of the harsh comments that will come with just being yourself. Well, we ALL know whether you work in entertainment or not, you cannot let the opinions of others govern how you live your life.
