Former Miss South Africa Teen 2006, Zizo Beda, has announced the passing of her mother, Reverend Nonceba Beda, on November 3. Zizo, a well-known model and media personality, shared the sad news on social media, remembering her mother as a woman of deep faith who taught her children to center their lives around Jesus Christ.

In her tribute, Zizo expressed her gratitude for the bond she shared with her mother, writing, “JESUS! Thank you for one of the most meaningful relationships of my existence – the one between me and the one you trusted to bring me and my siblings into the world, the relationship between me noMama.” She continued, “Thank you for your whole life Mama!!! Enkosi kakhulu for teaching us about a life centred on and in Jesus Christ, Mama. Rest ngoku, beloved Reverend Nonceba Beda.”

Zizo ended her tribute with a quote by Dr. Sylvester Funani that captured her mother’s unwavering faith: “‘The mountain is no match for a heart planted in faith.’ I BELIEVE GOD!!!”

Along with her words, Zizo posted beautiful photos of her mother and family in a touching video celebrating Reverend Beda’s life. Messages of condolences from fans, friends, and celebrities poured in, offering support during this difficult time.

The funeral service for Reverend Beda will be held on Friday, November 8, starting with a home service at 7 a.m. in Ku Doti, Dutywa, followed by a church service at Rhabe Church Hall at 9 a.m. in Dutywa Town.
