Singer Zintle Kwaaiman has made the difficult but important decision to step back from Facebook, saying her mental and emotional health needs to come first. In a heartfelt statement, the singer explained that this move is part of her personal journey to find peace and focus more on her well-being.
“In light of personal reflections, I have decided to take a step back from certain aspects of social media. This era in my life is dedicated to finding peace and focusing on my own well-being. I have come to the realization that I need to prioritize my mental and emotional health above all else,” Zintle shared.
She has now handed over control of her Facebook account to her management team. They will handle her updates and keep fans informed through a new page called Zintle Kwaaiman Updates. This way, her supporters can still stay connected with her career without directly interacting with her personal Facebook profile.
“Therefore, I have made the decision to disengage from Facebook. Moving forward, my management team will be overseeing my accounts and providing updates on my behalf. For those who wish to stay updated on my journey, please follow ‘Zintle Kwaaiman Updates’ for future announcements,” she wrote.
Zintle says that stepping away from Facebook will give her the space and energy to enjoy life more and grow personally. “I believe that this shift will allow me the space and energy to pursue activities that bring me joy, personal growth, and fulfillment,” she said.
While she’s leaving Facebook, Zintle reassured fans that she will still be active on Instagram and TikTok. She hopes to continue connecting with people there in a more positive and manageable way.
“While Facebook may no longer be a part of my daily routine, I will remain active on Instagram and TikTok where I hope to continue engaging with all of you,” she added.
She ended her message by reminding everyone of the importance of self-care, especially during hard times. “It is important for me to prioritize self-care and well-being, especially during challenging times.”
