So despite Cassper Nyovest posts on social media against the current Xenophobia state it seems the rapper is not welcome in Zimbabwe because of other people’s ignorance. Cassper Nyovest is set to travel to Zimbabwe on the 25th of April to perform there. A picture has been making it’s rounds on Zibabwean social media basically threatening that if xenophobia doesn’t stop in our country Cassper Nyovest is not welcome in their country.
Even with the threat against him, Cassper took to his Facebook page to announce that even with the negativity he will still be making his way to Zimbabwe and expressing that even though he is a South African it does not mean he’s been a part of the xenophobic attacks and stressing that he does not support them in any manner.
Some of Cassper’s fans are proud of him whilst others are a little upset saying that Cassper can’t expect them to be dancing and celebrating at his concert while their people are being killed in South Africa. There are even some threats against Cassper in the comments of his post.
Check out the picture that’s been making it’s rounds in Zimbabwe and some of the comments about Cassper’s post below.
Dear Cassper…
This is making its rounds on social media in Zimbabwe and people are advising me to cancel my show in Bulawayo next week and I am not budging. I do not support xenophobia therefore my show in Zimbabwe is still on for the 25th of April. My Zimbabwean fans are gonna come to my show. We are one AFRICA therefore we will dance together. I will come perform for my brothers. Thank you — with Pumlani Ta-Push Nxadi, Mzuvukile Simphiwe Dominique-Lunatic Mgoma, Justice Ganzela Masterlock Mlangeni and 12 others.
