Whoa! Here’s How Much Somizi’s MTV VMA Outfit Cost Him! Whilst Mzansi felt Somizi’s absence on Sunday’s Idols SA episode, the media personality was living his best life in LA at the MTV Music Video Awards.
As he always does, Somizi went all out for the Awards ceremony and stole the show as expected. Somizi wore an outfit made of Swarovski crystals by local designer Anita Ferreira who says Somizi wanted a show stopper.
“Somizi has a loud personality and I wanted to channel that in the outfit. 90 percent of the outfit was made with tiny Swarovski crystals, including in the shoulders and the leg boot pants,” Anita said.
So how much did it cost Somizi for that head turning outfit? Although Anita would not reveal the exact amount she said it was between R40 000 and R60 000.
