Bonang Matheba, the beloved South African media personality, is making a grand return to television with her new show, “B’dazzled” by Bonang, premiering tonight at 6 PM on SABC3. This six-part series, with each episode running for 46 minutes, promises to give viewers an exclusive peek into Bonang’s life as a successful entrepreneur and media mogul.
“After so many years in the industry, I’m excited to share a side of me not often seen — the business behind my various brands and how they are working to better society. ‘B’dazzled by Bonang is an exhilarating combination of the daily trials and tribulations that come with running my businesses, with a dose of the dazzle and glamour my audiences have come to know and love,” said Bonang speaking to TshisaLIVE.
The show is a co-production between Bonang Matheba Entertainment and Cake Media, with Bonang herself and David Phume serving as executive producers. Fans can expect to see the inner workings of her various ventures, from her luxury beverage line to her philanthropic foundation and high-profile brand collaborations with the likes of L’Oréal Paris and Steve Madden.
In a previous interview with TshisaLIVE, Bonang shed light on her hiatus from reality TV, explaining, “I have been working. I know the BForce have been annoyed with me because they feel I’ve been quiet and not sharing, but I’ve gone much quieter and that’s only because I’m 35. The older you grow, the quieter you become and that’s because I did all the shouting and dancing when I was 20.”
Despite her quieter public presence, Bonang’s career has been anything but slow. With a 20-year track record in the entertainment industry, her return to TV is highly anticipated. She took to Instagram to remind her fans about the premiere, posting, “B*dazzled by Bonang starts TONIGHT!! 6pm on S3. Let the fun begin.”
“B’dazzled” by Bonang promises to be a captivating look at the resilience, hard work, and sparkle that defines one of South Africa’s most iconic personalities. Don’t miss the premiere tonight at 6 PM on SABC3.
