Watch! Somizi Responds To Social Media Dragging Him For Bank Balance Comment

Being a celebrity means having thick skin as they are constantly on the firing line when it comes to cyber bulling, however they are expected not to retaliate. Veteran media personality and businessman Somizi is not one one to take any of the disrespect lying down and has stood up for himself once again.

Somizi is known to be very good friends with award winning singer Vusi Nova and their relationship has often led to homophobic question on social media. Once again a troll decided to come at Somgaga after the pair revealed that they have worked on a song together.

Somizi also posted a picture of himself and Vusi enjoying the soft life to celebrate the release of their single Ntandane that dropped on Thursday. A troll responded to the photo by questioning Vusi’s sexuality and Somizi didn’t take the comment lightly.

 “I was gonna answer that if the answer was gonna improve yo tekateking bank balance” he responded.

After Somizi’s response, trolls bullied Somizi by posting old snaps of Somizi before he became the monied superstar that he is today. This attack had social media undecided as some argued that he got what he deserved and others thought it was uncalled for.

Somizi has since come out to address his response to the tweep on social media advising bullies to not give the kind of treatment that they can’t take. He added that it is unfair to treat celebrities like this because they are expected to be the bigger people and not pay any mind to the disrespect.

“What’s the obsession with other people’s sexuality…it’s as if the answers will improve a certain aspect of your life….or as if it makes one feel better about themselves if they out someone else.” he said.
