Watch! Netflix Drops The Official Trailer For ‘Happiness Ever After‘. Earlier in the year it was announced that blockbuster movie ‘Happiness Is A Four Letter Word’ would be getting a sequel and we are super excited for what’s about to come. Unlike the first film that debuted on the big screen, the upcoming production will be premiering on Netflix.
The original film released 5 years ago based on Nozizwe Cynthia Jele’s novel follow’s three women in their journey in trying to find true love whilst keeping up a front of being fulfilled and happy with the current state of their lives. The streaming service has let the cat out the bag about original cast member’s Renate Stuurman, Khanyi Mbau and Richard Lukunku’s making a much anticipated return with some new faces.
The original cast will be joined by new cast members Nambitha Ben-Mazwi, Yonda Thomas, Daniel Effiong and Loyiso MacDonald, Xolile Tshabalala and Nandi Nyembe who will be bringing their own flair to the popular movie.
As the premier date gets closer, the streaming platform has been keeping fans on their toes about details, and now they have finally dropped the official trailer. It seems like the ladies are set to explore new relationships however, a random blast from the past may have returned to ruin everything.
The movie is also set to see one of the character’s go through the most with a family relative over who is set on making her life a living hell in the name of saving her brother’s assets. It looks like Mmabatho Montsho who played a lead role in the first movie will not be returning this time but we bet the fresh faces are enough to ease the heartbreak.
Creator Bongiwe Selane and director Thabang Moleya’s have shared their excitement about the production not only to continue presenting relatable scenarios with the audience but also because to revisit the sisterhood. The creators have promised fans that the film is a lot more exciting and even though the pressure was immense, showcasing on a popular streaming service is a win for the production already.
The Netflix film will be premiering on November 10th.
