When the speculations of actress Mbalenhle Mavimbela being pregnant first made headlines, fans of Showmax hit series, The Wife thought it was the reason she was rumored to be leaving the show. The rumors turned out to be untrue as she was confirmed to be returning for the third season.
The speculations about her being pregnant however were true as the actress recently revealed on social media. After months of keeping her pregnancy private, the mom to be finally had a pregnancy reveal to her fans whilst sharing photos and videos from her surprise baby shower.
The “national wife” was surprised by her loved ones to celebrate her bundle of joy on the way. She shared how she was told to get ready for a photoshoot when in reality it was for her baby shower. Sharing some of the photos from the day, Mbalenhle joked writing, “guys ngizamile ukukheca.”
“I was told to get ready for a photoshoot, to actually find that it’s my surprise baby shower ft my family, friends and favourite artist… Thank you to everyone that has been part of this journey … Kumnandi guys ukuba imina serious,” she captioned a video in which she was surprised by a performance from Sjava whom she says is her favorite artist.
