Watch: Gugu Khathi Exposes Racist Neighbor Calling Her Son A Low Life Criminal. Even before the focus was shifted to the intense volumes of racism toward people of color today, many people have been dealing with the discrimination personally but Gugu Kathi has just about had it.
Gugu who is the wife of Afrotainment CEO, Dj Tira took to Instagram with a video exposing one of the often derogatory encounters they deal with almost on a daily basis from their neighbor Benjamin O’neil.
In the now posted video taken by Khathi’s son Junior, O’neil is seen watering his garden ordering Junior Come closer exclaiming that he will be very clear about the Khathi family having no regard for the law.
Oneil continued asking what Junior was doing in the street right now and that he is a ‘low life without any common sense’.
“You’ve got no regard for the law. You’re a criminal. You and I know that you’re a low life. You don’t have common sense” said O’Neil.
Although the man seemed adamant to get his point across, the 24 year old wouldn’t back down without a fight as he is heard in the video saying that he is on the street to go and purchase an essential supply.
“I’m going to buy bread” Junior replied.
Gugu is now determined to expose Benjamin for being a hypocrite and a racist because people like him who have forced her to teach her children to record any dispute as evidence. They have also tagged his place of employment because they are tired of the bullying.
“So Benjamin Oneil is still at it enjoying his privileges his kids playing in the street no mask yet – he decides to spray my son with water and then proceeds to insult him. I need you to see this 60 year old always praying on my 24 year old son for years now and the only thing I can teach my son is record it @ifloors_africa (they have just deleted their account) your roodepoort/Weltevreden branch owner is a bloody bully and racist and we are fed up in your uniform he continues this behavior it’s been more than 5 years now WEARE TIRED PLZ LISTEN @runzoneac your member is a racist,” Gugu wrote.
In 2019 (November) the Sowetan Live reported that Gugu Khathi was embroiled in a nasty fight with the same neighbors which ended up getting physical.
The publication reported that Gugu and her neighbor Cindy O’Neil have opened cases of assault against one another at the Honeydew police station.
